LEWIS COUNTY- Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Farm is aimed to host their annual Zwanzigstien Fest this summer.
This Lewis County tradition will take place on Saturday, July 8 at the farm museum, located at 8778 Erie Canal Rd, Croghan, NY.
Zwanzigstein means "Twenty Stones," according to officials. The name stems from the story when God led Joshua and the Israelites over the Jordan River.
“As our forefathers (twenty families) traveled from Europe to settle here, they, too, must have realized the mighty hand of God and truly worshiped him,” the Mennonite Heritage Farm said.
“When our children ask, we can tell them of this mighty God.”
