Report: First officially licensed cannabis dispensary in Utica-Rome region to open this January

UTICA- New York’s first state licensed cannabis dispensary for the Utica-Rome region is aimed to open this January.

This update is according to the latest from WKTV. Air City Cannabis is already delivering their product via online sales.

Their dispensary will be located towards the west end of the Live It Downtown complex in Utica, NY.

During a Zoom conference call interview with Attorney Matthew Leonardo, a cannabis compliance attorney, it was revealed to reporters that state licensed dispensaries do not sell any tainted products, which “creates a safer situation for those using it.”

For now, the dispensary will be one of two officially licensed for the Mohawk Valley region.
