
LOWVILLE- Former students are mourning the loss of a pastime English teacher at Lowville Academy, who, along with her husband, was recently murdered.
According to the latest reports surfacing from WWNY-TV, various heartfelt remarks and memories are being shared in honor of Donna Walker-Sislo.
According to authorities, she and her husband, Steve, were shot and killed in their Madison County home by their own son, Justin.
Several reports indicate that Justin had just been bailed out of jail by his parents on a pair of domestic violence arrests. It is reported that Justin then killed himself after murdering his mother and father.
Walker-Sislo taught at Lowville Academy in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Based on the remarks being shared by former students, it seems as if Donna held a special place for each and every one of them within her heart.
As a testimony to how much the students loved Donna, there once was a walkout several years ago to support her behalf after former students claim she was fired for apparently missing work to go on her honeymoon with Steve.
