Rome City Police investigate threat at Strough Middle School

ROME- The City Police Department is investigating a threat that was directed at Strough Middle School.

Though an investigation remains on-going, police have determined the threat not to be credible.

Authorities were notified of this threat on Monday and the City Police Department said that there will be increased patrols on Tuesday at the campus.

The nature or specifics of the threat were not described by police at press time.
