Rome Police seeking help from the public concerning latest animal cruelty case

ROME- The Rome City Police Department is reaching out for the public’s help concerning an ongoing animal cruelty investigation.

Officers investigated an animal cruelty report on Monday morning at 115 Stanwix Street. Upon police arrival, it is reported that officers located a deceased dog in the driveway.

As of this report, details remain limited, but police are investigating the circumstances.
