Roof collapse damage contained to shipping area at HUD-Son Forest Equipment

ONEIDA COUNTY- No one was inside when a portion of HUD-son Forest Equipment (8201 NY-12, Barneveld, NY 13304) collapsed Tuesday evening in the town of Trenton.

It happened shortly after 6:00 P.M. According to Barneveld Fire Department, initial responders witnessed a building that had collapsed, while where was an active propane leak as well.

Emergency responders were assigned to shut off the utilities and check for other hazards.

As of this publication, Barneveld Fire Department said the damage has been contained to the shipping and receiving building and the rest of the complex remains undamaged.

No one was inside the building at the time of the collapse, as it was after business hours and everyone had gone home for the day.
