Sheriff Michael Carpinelli to lead Trump's Local Campaign

Lewis County Sheriff Michael Carpinelli will be the leader of Donald Trump’s New York campaign here in the 21^st Congressional District. The Johnson Newspaper group has reported that the Trump campaign appointed leaders in all 27 congressional districts, with Sheriff Carpinelli serving the 21st district. Sheriff Carpinelli told reporters he is supporting Mr. Trump because he is not a part of the “established regime” in Washington, D.C. He also said Mr. Trump’s business background would be an asset.
