TUG HILL- In the wake of numerous ATV accidents last weekend throughout Lewis County, organizers for the annual ‘SNIRT Run’ are calling it another success.

However, with that being said, Barnes Corners Sno-Pals, the local snowmobile club responsible for heading SNIRT each year, has acknowledged the need for some needed adjustments starting next-year.

This development is according to the latest from WWNY-TV.

Out of the numerous ATV and/or UTV involved accidents, not all of them were directly correlated with the event. “We’re looking at some of the areas where there was congestion, where the ambulances couldn’t get through, we’re looking to address them,” SNIRT Chairperson Scott Margeson told reporters.

“We just got to get better traffic flow through certain areas, around Flat Rock and Timberview.”

SNIRT has become an annual springtime tradition for Tug Hill; drawing thousands of ATVs and other machines.
