State Police: Lewis County man accused of criminal mischief in Croghan

CROGHAN- A Lewis County man is faced with a charge, stemming from complaints of a domestic dispute over the weekend in the North Country, authorities say.

Jeffrey M. Martin, 48, of Croghan, NY was arrested Tuesday evening by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from an alleged domestic dispute in the town of Croghan, reported to authorities on August 26.

At press time, police said Martin was released on his own recognizance.
