STATE POLICE: Lewis County resident charged with petit larceny in town of Champion

CHAMPION- A Lewis County resident is faced with a larceny accusation in the North Country, authorities are reporting.

Scott A. Morrison, 43, of Copenhagen, NY was arrested Sunday afternoon by the New York State Police (Carthage). Morrison is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint in the town of Champion, Jefferson County.

At press time, authorities said that Morrison was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
