CARTHAGE- Three more arrests have been made in the wake of a Jefferson County burglary investigation last month.

This publication is an update to a story we ran Wednesday, where a 15-year-old Carthage juvenile was formally charged by the State Police with one felony count of burglary in the third-degree.

As of press time Thursday, Troopers from the Lowville barracks have announced the same exact charges filed against 3 more suspects, including a 13-year-old female, a 14-year-old male and another 15-year-old (one of the 15-year-olds is a male, while the other is a female).

All of the teenage subjects are from Carthage, NY, however; their names were not available from authorities (youthful offender/juvenile status).

According to investigators, all of these arrests stem from a burglary complaint in the village of Carthage on May 19.

Specifically, these arrests stem from several smoke shop burglaries throughout Carthage, Troopers said.

All four juvenile suspects have been issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to family court.
