Town of Watson Resident Jailed on Numerous Charges

Town of Watson-A 41 year old Watson woman was remanded to the Lewis County Jail on numerous charges. Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cindy L. Miller Friday following a report of an Order of Protection Violation. It is alleged that Miller attempted to contact a protected party via three phone calls and she also reportedly send an email to the victim. Upon arrival at the residence, Miller barricaded herself in the bathroom. Contact was then made with Miller, and she allegedly kicked members of the Sheriff’s office and used her cell phone to strike them. Miller actively resisted arrest and was placed into custody where she remained uncooperative. Miller was charged with criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, a Class E felony, Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Class A misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, c Class A misdemeanor, Obstruction of governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, a Class A misdemeanor and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a violation. Miller was arraigned in the Lewis County Cap Court and was remanded to the Lewis County Jail on no bail.
