LOWVILLE- Milling and paving work are expected to soon begin in downtown Lowville, NY.
According to officials via the New York State DOT, crews are expected to begin milling work on Monday, August 14 along State Route 26 - from the intersection of State Route 12 and ending near Lewis County General Hospital.
Officials say milling work is expected to wrap up by Thursday, August 17.
No parking will be allowed in work areas starting Tuesday and lane closures should be expected.
With that being said, DOT officials warn drivers should expect delays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Flaggers will be posted to help control traffic.
Paving is expected to begin sometime around September 11.
