Trenton house blaze contained to upstairs bedroom, attic

ONEDIA COUNTY- Fire fighters managed to keep a house blaze Monday late afternoon contained to an upstairs bedroom and attic area.

It was sometime shortly after 5:30 p.m. when Barneveld Fire Department was called out to an address on Church Road, town of Trenton, for reports of a structure fire.

Initial responders on-scene reported a working structure fire in the upper floors of the home.

Holland Patent and Stittville Fire Departments provided mutual aid.

Fortunately, firefighters were successful with keeping the flames contained to an upstairs bedroom and the attic.

As of this publication, Barneveld Fire Department did not list any possible causes and there were no injuries reported.

Members from STaR Ambulance, National Grid and Town of Trenton Codes Department all assisted.
