Troopers arrest, charge North Country man for unauthorized use of motor vehicle

CHAMPION- A North Country resident is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Eli J. Moser, 19, of Carthage, NY was arrested late Wednesday by the New York State Police (Carthage). Moser is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (w/out owner’s consent).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed the same evening in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said Moser was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided to report.
