Troopers arrest man for aggravated DWI in Martinsburg

MARTINSBURG- A man from Northern New York is accused of intoxicated driving in Lewis County, authorities say.

Stephen P. Brand, 61, of Malone, NY was arrested by the New York State Police (Lowville) shortly before 8:30 a.m. Thursday. He is officially charged with one count each of aggravated DWI (per se-no prior) and DWI (first offense).

According to Troopers, the charges were issued in the town of Martinsburg. At press time, police said Mr. Brand was issued with an appearance ticket.
