TROOPERS: Boonville resident faced with felony burglary, criminally possessing property charges in Southern Lewis County

LYONSDALE- A local resident is faced with felony theft related charges in Southern Lewis County.

On Tuesday afternoon, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged James J. Lynch, 36, of Boonville, NY with one felony count each of burglary in the third-degree and criminally possessing stolen property in the fourth-degree.

Troopers specify the burglary charge stems from a complaint filed on July 8, while the criminal possession charge stems from a complaint on September 1.

Both cases were in the town of Lyonsdale.

At press time, police said an investigation was still pending for the criminal possession charge.

Meanwhile, Lynch was released and there were no further details provided.
