TROOPERS: Carthage resident charged with criminally possessing a controlled substance and criminal impersonation

WATERTOWN- A North Country resident is faced with charges in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Brandon R. Graves, 32, of Carthage, NY was arrested Wednesday evening by the New York State Police (Philadelphia). Graves is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree and criminal impersonation in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the city of Watertown, NY.

At press time, police said that Graves was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
