TROOPERS: Old Forge resident charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon in the Mohawk Valley

UTICA- A local resident from the Western Adirondacks is faced with a felony accusation in the Mohawk Valley.

On Wednesday afternoon, the New York State Police (Marcy) arrested and charged Albert Charles Doggett, 44, of Old Forge, NY with one felony count of criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (w/a previous conviction).

According to Troopers, this charge was filed in the city of Utica, NY.

At press time, Doggett’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
