Two Lowville Men Arrested

Two Lowville men were arrested by the New York State Police yesterday afternoon in the Village of Lowville regarding drug possession.

State Troopers from the Lowville Barracks report that a 20 year old Dylan Babcock and a 38 year old John Hirschey were charged with one count each of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Utica Boulevard in Lowville yesterday afternoon. Both suspects were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village Court at a later date. No further details were released.
