Two motorcycle crash victims flown to SUNY Upstate Saturday

ONEIDA COUNTY- Two motorcycle crash victims were flown to SUNY Upstate Medical Center following a crash that occurred Saturday afternoon in Oneida County.

It happened shortly after 4:00 p.m. on State Route 12 (southbound), right near the State Route 365 ramp, located between Barneveld and Remsen, NY.

Any further updates are expected from the New York State Police, but for now we do have confirmation from Barneveld Fire Department that there are two motorcycle operators that suffered serious injuries from this incident.

Emergency officials said the two were thrown from their bikes. Bystanders assisted with initial aid until emergency responders arrived.

Both victims received further treatment from EMS before being flown out to SUNY Upstate Medical Center.

State Route 12 was shut down for a time, but since has re-opened.

We will provide another update if and when anything new develops from State Police Investigators.
