Under investigation or not? Two sources have two completely different tales for when it comes to an apparent dump site on property of Democratic NY-21 Congressional Candidate Blake Gendebien

LISBON, NY- Under investigation or not? Two different sources have two completely different tales to describe whether or not an investigation into an apparent dump site on the property of Democratic NY-21 Congressional Candidate Blake Gendebien remains underway.

Earlier this month, Gendebien's Republican opponent and Sticker Mule CEO, Anthony Constantino, hosted a press conference and showcased drone footage that was reportedly obtained from a private investigation firm, which was hired through his campaign.

The footage showed what appeared to be a site of scattered tires and other various debris on a property of Gendebien's in Lisbon, NY.

For context, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation did confirm a complaint the agency received on September 3 regarding Gendebien's property.

Earlier this month, Mr. Constantino declared that both the DEC and the New York State Police were investigating Gendebien's apparent dump site, but it was only a short while before both agencies formally declared no wrong doing on Gendebien's behalf and that there was no further investigation into the matter.

Regardless of that fact, Mr. Constantino has since followed up with another declaration only days ago that claims how the DEC has apparently re-opened their investigation (see post from Constantino's social media below).

Anthony Constantino Blake Dump Site Investigation October 2026

On Monday evening, Constantino produced this follow up statement via his social to his claim about the investigation being re-opened:

"Blake Gendebien claimed the investigation into the dumping on his property was closed and that no violation had occurred. We spoke with the DEC, provided evidence documenting the extent of the dumping, including tires and construction debris, and learned that the original environmental conservation officer assigned to the complaint had not been aware of the full scope of the damage. The DEC confirmed to our private investigator that the investigation was being reopened based on the evidence from a new complaint. Our attorney and private investigator have confirmed these facts. The public deserves the truth as everyone can plainly tell the dump is disgusting and illegal. Super Intelligence analysis of the evidence also calls the dump illegal and warns it's dangerous to both humans and wildlife. Any media outlet who disagrees should send a reporter to go swim in the water themselves."

In response, the New York State DEC confirmed on Tuesday with Flack Broadcasting and several other news outlets that "There is no open investigation at this time."

On Tuesday evening, Mr. Constantino published these following documents apparently disclosing the collaboration between the DEC and his hired private investigators, despite the DEC confirming with Flack Broadcasting and various other news outlets that there is no active investigation:

Responding to Flack Broadcasting, Mr. Gendebien and his campaign team sent us this following statement:

“Anthony Constantino is a liar, plain and simple,” said Blake Gendebien. “The DEC came out, looked at my farm, found nothing, and closed the complaint before he ever held his phony press conference. He knew the truth then, and he knows it now. He just doesn’t care. This is a man who paid somebody to fly drones over my home, where Carmen and I raised our three boys, and over the barns where my family has worked for two generations. That isn’t campaigning. It’s stalking. People in the North Country are paying six dollars for diesel and getting crushed at the grocery store, and Anthony is spending his time spying. It also tells you exactly how he’d treat farmers in Congress. When Anthony sees a working farm he doesn’t understand, his answer is to call in state regulators and demand a crackdown. Farmers in this district already face more inspections, paperwork, and red tape than most people will ever see. The last thing family farms need is a congressman who wants to surveil them and pile on more regulations because he doesn’t know how a farm works. I’m going to Washington to cut the red tape that’s driving farmers out of business, not add to it.”

The mid-term election is Tuesday, November 3. Meanwhile, early voting remains underway this week.
