WATERTOWN- An unfortunate development has surfaced regarding one of the latest upcoming shows for DPAO Concerts for a Cause.

Although the concert, featuring 'Warrant' and 'FireHouse' scheduled for Saturday, May 11 at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena is still on, officials are saddened to announce the passing of CJ Snare, the original lead vocalist, and a founding member of the group 'FireHouse.'

"We were looking forward to CJ rejoining the band after recovering from surgery last fall," the band said in a released statement.

"Unfortunately, due to CJ's untimely passing, that won't be possible. FireHouse will however still be performing with Warrant on Saturday, May 11 at the Municipal Arena in Watertown NY."

Nate Peck, 2023 American Idol Golden Ticket recipient from Season 21, will be handling vocals. With CJ's blessing and full support, Nate has been singing with the band in CJ's absence over the past 6 months.

CJ left an indelible mark on the music industry with his soaring vocals and the FireHouse music he helped craft.

The concert is indoors at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena in Watertown. Tickets are $75 for Pit standing room and $45 for general admission.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased online (DPAOconcerts.com), by calling or stopping by the DPAO Concerts office (315-782-0044, 1291 Faichney Dr. Door D), or at all local area Kinney Drugs locations.
