Woodgate Fire Department: Seizure reported in Sunday accident on Hogsback Road

ONEDIA COUNTY- Police say there were no serious injuries reported in the wake of an accident Sunday morning on the Hogsback Road, near Woodgate.

It happened shortly after 9:30 a.m., according to Woodgate Fire Chief Anthony Sege. Emergency responders told us this accident involved just one vehicle, where it went over an embankment.

It’s reported that the driver was having a seizure. With the assistance of Otter Lake Fire Department, responders managed to evaluate the victim, who eventually signed-off from any further medical treatment.

The New York State Police also responded to assist and will be handling the course of the investigation.
