Woodland Farm Brewery to host grand opening of Hulbert House Taproom Thursday, December 22

BOONVILLE- A lot of people have been asking and now everyone is buzzing that the word is officially out – the historic Hulbert House will re-open its doors to patrons Thursday, December 22.

The renowned landmark establishment was known as the place for weddings, receptions and celebrations of all sorts until its doors sadly closed in 2016.

It remained lonely until Carl Vogel, a known wholesale furniture salesman, bought the property three-years later in 2019. Vogel has since refurbished the upper floors into apartments.

Despite the purchase, the downstairs bar and tavern, once known for being jam-packed on any given night, still remained desolate. That is until Woodland Farm Brewery, a craft beer company out of Marcy, NY, took interest and decided the Hulbert House would become their second taproom.

After several months of anticipation and a few unexpected delays, the word blossomed from Farmland Brewery last Friday that their grand opening date had been established for Thursday, December 22.

"Thank you for all of your patience as we've put a lot of time and effort into reopening the Hulbert House taproom," the brewery said in a statement. 

Opening day hours for the taproom and kitchen will be from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. On Friday, they will be open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. and on Christmas Eve from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

The Boonville Taproom is situated on Main Street. Taproom hours are as follows:

• Tues-Thur - 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m 
• Fri - 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Sat - 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday  -  11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Monday  -  Closed
• NOTE: Kitchen closes 1 hour before taproom
