Point Rock- Grace E. Rude, 63, of Yorkland Road, wife of Arthur L., passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Rome Health, while surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born in Columbus, Ohio, on May 11, 1963, a daughter of Melvin and Joan Brower Wolfe. She grew up in Columbus, until moving to the Point Rock area, with her family and completing her education at Adirondack High School, Boonville. On August 13, 1995, Grace was united in marriage with Arthur L. Rude, in Ava. Thereafter the couple settled in the Point Rock area.

Grace devoted her life to being a homemaker and found great joy and satisfaction in providing for her husband and family. Together, Grace and Arthur enjoyed their hobby farms and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Arthur, she is survived by her children; son, Shane (Rachel) Rude, Boonville; daughter, Sheena Rude, Point Rock; grandchildren, great grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel and Emmitt Wolfe. She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Tanya Ervin, in 2021; a sister, Deborah Platt and a brother, Melvin Wolfe.

Visitation hours are Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with a graveside service to follow on Tuesday, at 2:00 P.M. at Point Rock Cemetery, hamlet of Point Rock. Following the services, all are invited to attend a luncheon and celebration of her life, at the Charles J. Love Post
American Legion, East Schuyler St. Boonville. Grace loved and cared for all kinds of animals; memorial contributions may be made to a humane society of your choice.
