LOWVILLE/CONSTABLEVILLE- Rebecca Sue “Becky” Ackerman, 64, of Eugene Street, formerly of Constableville, passed away Wednesday December 18, 2024 at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse after lifelong complications with juvenile diabetes.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday December 23, 2024 at Abundant Life Fellowship, Boonville with Pastor Dan Tabolt officiating.  Calling hours are from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday December 22, 2024 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville. Spring burial will be in Turin Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Constableville Fire Department, Attn: Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 438, Constableville, NY 13325 or Lewis County Search and  Rescue, 7782 West State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.

Becky is survived by her companion, Eddy Coffey; her siblings, Leslie (Donald) Arthur; Katherine, Aaron, and John Ackerman; Patrick Ackerman; Matthew Ackerman; Nathan Ackerman; a brother-in-law, Tom Blackford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, and a sister, Valerie Blackford.

She was born in Constableville, NY on July 7, 1960, a daughter of the late, Fay L. Ackerman Jr. and Marlene Peterson Ackerman and graduated from South Lewis Central School and Central City Business Institute, Syracuse, NY with a degree in accounting.  Becky worked for several years at Lewis County Head Start and then spent most of her working career at Lewis County Social Services in the accounting department, where she retired in 2022.

She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship in Boonville and will be forever missed.
