KAALEKAHI ADAMS ROLLY ANN

Rolly Ann Dolores Leilani Kaalekahi-Adams, 62, wife of Michael William Adams, passed away while next to her husband on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Affectionately known as “KK”, she was born on the island of Molokai, Hawaii, on August 4, 1962, a daughter of Rolland and Loretta (Nerveza) Kaalekahi. KK grew up on the Island of Molokai where she graduated from high school, with the class of 1980. After high school, KK enlisted in the U.S Air Force, and began her service to her country, on December 16, 1982. In 1988, she met the love of her life, Michael and on August 10, 1991, they were married at Kalaupapa Lookout Molokai, Hawaii. KK was Honorably discharged from the Air Force, August 12, 1992.

From that time on, they travelled the world and raised their three children Kale, Cody, and Kiana while earning an Associate degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland .

As the school secretary for West Leyden/Boonville Elementary, her role in school administration was important, however the role she was best at was giving support, caring and understanding to all the kids at school. She is a matriarch that embodied the essence of ALOHA, to give hugs, to give gratitude and to be generous with her love. She is a force of nature, her ways have become our family’s tradition, she gave to us legacy and culture as a woman of Hawaii. We as her family are honored to have had her for as long as we did, and we hope all those lives she has touched continue to feel her blessing and send their prayers to our family during this time.

She is survived by Husband: Michael,  Children: Kale (Martina), Cody (Kara), Kiana (Sarah and Anthony), Sister Rollanda, Brother Rolland, & Sister Rolda, Pre Deceased- Parents Rolland and Loretta Kaalekahi, brother Charles.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 22, at 3:00 pm at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.  There are no calling hours.  Interment will be at the convenience of her family in a Veteran’s Cemetery, at Molokai, Hawaii.
