Steven R. Reppard Sr.

Steven was born in Boonville on September 22, 1955 a son of Frederick and Leda Zeigler Reppard. He grew up in Boonville and graduated from Adirondack Central School in the Class of 1974. He and his brother John owned and operated J&S Country Store on Post Street until it was destroyed by fire in the 1980’s. Steve was employed at Ethan Allen Furniture for 25 years in the spray booth until they closed in 2006. He then was employed at Daimler Bus, Oriskany until their closing in 2012. Steve was a highly skilled woodworker and had a home based business, Cellar Creations, from1996-2017.

He was a member of the Boonville Fire Company since 1973. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, spending time in Lake George and his German Sheppard, Ricco.

He and Barbara Cotton were united in marriage on June 21, 1997 at the Boonville Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; children, Brenda Reppard, Steven (Heidi) Reppard Jr.,  Nicholas (Ashlee) Reppard,  Amber (Xavier) Polk,  Dianna Ortiz (Jared Stefhon), Jaimee (Chris) Jensen; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, John (Margo) Reppard; sister, Laura and Henry Bush and his canine companion, Stella Marie and several nieces and nephews.  Steven was predeceased by his parents and a niece Sandy.

Steve’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
