Boonville Man Causes Injury After Altercation

Lowville, June 4: A 22 year old Boonville man was arrested earlier this month after an alleged physical-altercation, in Lowville.

Police say that Justin Moran was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, both Class A Misdemeanors. Further reports indicate that Moran initiated a physical-altercation on June 3, on Shady Avenue, with another male subject. Both men fell to the ground during the incident and as a result, the victim had his shirt torn and twisted his ankle.

Moran was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Lowville Court at a later date. The victim received medical attention at the hospital. No further details were released.
