Boonville Man Facing Assault, Menacing Charges After Striking Female Victim

Boonville, June 17- A domestic dispute has resulted in the arrest and charges for a 22 year old Boonville man.

Police investigated a domestic dispute on Academy Street, reported on June 10. It’s alleged that Justin Moran struck a female victim and also threw her cell phone, as she left the residence. Moran was charged with Assault in the 3rd degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree.

He was arraigned in the Town of Boonville Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $1,000 cash bail. An order of protection was issued on the victim's behalf.
