State Police: Rome Man Arrested For Felony DWI, BAC Over Double Legal Limit

Marcy, NY – On June 8, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90, in the Town of Marcy for a speeding violation.

The driver of the vehicle, Joshua E. Miller, age 23, of Rome, NY, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of Marihuana. Miller was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Schuyler, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.20%. Additionally, he has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with:

-Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony
-Numerous Vehicle and Traffic Violations
-Unlawful Possession of Marihuana; a Violation.

Miller was arraigned in the Town of Whitestown Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1500. Cash or $5000. Bond. Miller is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Marcy Court on June 13, 2017, at 4:00 p.m.
