Friends of Lewis County Hospice 125000 donation to LCHS May 2025

LOWVILLE- Lewis County Health System is showing its appreciation after receiving a $125,000 donation from Friends of Lewis County Hospice to help support its Hospice Program for Lewis County residents.

The donation was officially gifted by Joanne Dicob during Friends of Lewis County Hospices’ annual spring Epicurean Delight, which serves as one of their highlight fundraisers.

The event was held on May 4 and was dubbed another great success, according to a social media post from the group.

The purpose of the organization, which is a non-profit, is to support patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Their several fundraisers help ensure that compassionate hospice care remains available to those in need.

This announcement comes on the heels of a previous $30,000 donation only days ago by LCGH Auxiliary, which was made to help purchase state of the art 3-D mammography systems.
