
There’s not much anything new regarding gas prices, which the AAA says is good news.
With that said, the national average price as of this report Tuesday morning was $3.61, just shy of being ten-cents higher than last-year at this time and just slightly cheaper than when it was $3.64 last-week.
In New York State, drivers are paying an average of $3.71 at the pumps as of this report, which is slightly higher than the $3.66 average this time last-year, but significantly more than last-month’s $3.50 average.
According to GasBuddy as of this publication, drivers filling up in the Lowville and Boonville, NY areas are paying as low as $3.68, with most other establishments offering prices slightly north of that.
In the city of Watertown, NY, some establishments are offering gas for as low as $3.55, but most seem to range upwards of $3.79. The same can be said for the region of Syracuse, NY.
In the Mohawk Valley region, GasBuddy reported prices as of this update ranging very similar in the cities of Rome, NY and Utica, NY.
