State Police charge local resident with petit larceny in Lowville

LOWVILLE- A larceny complaint in Lewis County has resulted in the arrest of a local resident, authorities say.

Amy S. Spencer, 66, of Castorland, NY was formally charged Monday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville) for one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed in the town of Lowville on May 9.

At press time, police said Spencer was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
