Aggravated harassment charged filed against Rome resident following complaints in town of Lewis

LEWIS- A resident from the Mohawk Valley area is accused of aggravated harassment in Lewis County, following complaints last month in the town of Lewis.

Adrian E. Coonrod, 49, of Rome, NY was arrested Thursday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). Coonrod is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated harassment in the second-degree (communicating threat via phone/computer/mail).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from reports filed on May 19 in the town of Lewis.

At press time, police said that Coonrod was released.

There were no further details provided to report.
