LOWVILLE- All services at the Lewis County DMV Office have been restored as of Friday, according to the County Clerk, Jake Moser.
He says a string of glitches, which were exclusive to the Lewis County DMV Office itself last week, interrupted ability for the office staff to complete transactions.
As the week progressed, crews managed to install some new hardware, but services were still limited to just registration transactions.
However, that is no longer the case, as residents in need of services may now visit for all transactions.
With the federal deadline approaching this spring for a REAL (or an Enhanced ID), Clerk Moser invites anyone who may have questions regarding which ID option would be best for them to call the Clerk’s Office: 315-376-5333.
