Alleged domestic dispute in Denmark results in charges against Lewis County resident

DENMARK- A local resident from the North Country is faced with accusations that stem from complaints of domestic dispute last weekend in Lewis County.

Travis A. Chapman, 20, of Copenhagen, NY was arrested Sunday by the Sheriff’s Office. Chapman is formally charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief in the fourth-degree and one violation of harassment in the second-degree.

According to Deputies, these charges stem from an alleged domestic dispute on Sunday in the town of Denmark.

Details describing the incident were not included via the Sheriff’s Office.

At press time, authorities said that Chapman was processed at the Public Safety Building and released with appearance tickets.
