Altercation results in arrest of two Lewis County residents, Deputies say

MONTAGUE- Two local residents are faced with assault charges in the wake of a reported altercation over the weekend in Lewis County, authorities say.

Danny T. Gudridge, Sr., 57, of New Bremen, NY and Michael R. Gudridge, 35, of Montague, NY were arrested Saturday evening by the Sheriff's Office. Both are officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault in the third-degree (w/intent to cause physical injury).

According to police, the arrests stem from an alleged incident Saturday evening on the Salmon River Road, town of Montague.

Following an arraignment in Croghan Town CAP Court, Michael and Danny were released on their own recognizance.
