BOONVILLE- The annual meeting for Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce has been postponed, but the membership will still gather at the VFW.
As previously reported, the board of directors announced their newly formed bylaws committee could not reach an agreement on drafting what will eventually be their latest set of bylaws.
They last met Friday and because no consensus was reached with the annual meeting looming so close, the chamber chose to postpone.
However, the membership has reached out with a message to the community that they are still going to convene, separate from the board, at the Boonville VFW and discuss future pathways for the chamber and its future going forward.
The membership will gather at 6:00 p.m.

Furthermore, the membership has put forth an anonymous survey to gauge public thoughts on membership participation and transparency.
As soon as the chamber board decides a new date for the next meeting, we will provide an update.
