Ava resident accused of criminally possessing controlled substance in Oneida County

VERONA- A local resident from Oneida County is accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance.

Kira A. Stolo, 37, of Ava, NY was arrested and charged Friday night by the New York State Police (Sylvan Beach) for one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, this arrest was made in the town of Verona.

At press time, authorities said that Stolo was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details released.
