Personal injury wreck in Herkimer County results in DWI charges against local resident

RUSSIA- A property damage wreck over the weekend in Herkimer County has resulted in a DWI arrest.

It happened shortly after 6:00 p.m. Friday evening in the town of Russia. Stemming from a New York State Police investigation, Raymond Leo Bronson, 59, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested shortly after 7:00 p.m. Friday for one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC).

Investigators said there was one injury reported.

At press time, Troopers said that Bronson was issued with an appearance ticket.
