Barneveld Fire Department responds to motorcycle accident on Route 12

ONEIDA COUNTY- One person involved in a single motorcycle accident over the weekend was taken to a Mohawk Valley hospital, authorities say.

It happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday, when emergency responders were called out to an accident involving one motorcycle. It happened on State Route 12 (southbound).

Barneveld Fire Department was the primary responder on scene. According to Chief Kevin Kalk, one victim was taken by STaR Ambulance to a Utica Hospital. Specific injuries were not described and a cause of the accident was not mentioned at press time.
