Barneveld Man Sent to Oneida Co. Jail following Domestic Dispute in Remsen

VILLAGE OF REMSEN-A 43 year old Barneveld man was sent to the Oneida County Jail following a reported domestic dispute in the Village of Remsen on Sunday morning. Upon investigation, Oneida County Sheriff’s deputies and members of the criminal investigation unit arrested Jeromie Wheatley and charged him with  several offenses. Wheatley was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony; Aggravated Family Offense, a class E felony; Criminal Contempt in the first degree, a class E felony; menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.  Wheatley was transported to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Building where he was processed before being turned over to the Oneida County Jail to await arraignment at CAP court.
