Barneveld Resident Accused of Driving while Impaired by Drugs or Alcohol

VILLAGE OF POLAND-A 23 year old Barneveld resident is facing D.W.I. charges following an early Sunday morning vehicle stop in the Village of Poland. State troopers from the Herkimer station charged Lindsey Rose Benson with one count each of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drugs-First Offense, and D.W.A.I. Combined Influence of Drugs or Alcohol and Drugs with No Prior; all Class U misdemeanors. Benson was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Poland Court at a later date,,
