Boil water advisory for parts of Remsen until further notice

REMSEN- A boil water advisory will impact some parts of Remsen, NY until at-least early next week, according to local officials.

This update pertains to a water main leak on Prospect Road, which prompted the water in that area (from Lincoln Avenue to Prospect Road) to be shut-off Thursday morning so crews could make repairs.

For now, officials say there is a boil water advisory for that area and will remain in place until further notice.

It was reported to us that the advisory will remain active through at-least early next week.
