Boonville Man Accused of D.W.I. in the Town of Ava

TOWN OF AVA-A 54 year old Boonville man was arrested for D.W.I. following a Saturday afternoon vehicle stop in the Town of Ava. New York State Police from the Lee Barracks charged David A. Alger with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1%-First Offense and Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense. Alger was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Ava Court at a later date. The incident was pending investigation as of Sunday morning press time.
