Boonville man charged with assault and acting in manner injurious to a child, Troopers say

LYONSDALE- A local resident is faced with a pair of charges in Lewis County, following complaints of a domestic dispute last month, authorities say.

Jeremy N. Finster, 41, of Boonville, NY was arrested Thursday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Finster is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault in the third-degree (w/intent of causing physical injury) and acting in a manner injurious to a child (<17).

According to Troopers, these charges all stem from an alleged domestic incident, reported on August 5 in the town of Lyonsdale.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Finster’s arrest status was not reported and there were no further details provided.
