Boonville man charged with menacing, Troopers say

BOONVILLE- A local resident is accused of menacing in Northern Oneida County, authorities say.

Mark F. Lieber, 43, of Boonville, NY was arrested Thursday afternoon by the New York State Police (Remsen). Lieber is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the charge stems from an alleged menacing incident in the town of Boonville, which was reported to authorities on June 18.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending and Lieber’s arrest status was listed as unknown.

There were no further details provided.
