Boonville Man "Held" on numerous Charges following reported Menacing Incident

TOWN OF BOONVILLE-A 57 year old Boonville man was jailed following a report of a menacing incident in the Town of Boonville on Saturday morning. New York State Police from the Remsen Barracks charged Franklin D. Potter with one count each of Menacing in the 2^nd degree, a Class D misdemeanor: Reckless Endangerment in the 1^st degree, a Class D felony. He was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4^th degree - Convicted Felon, a Class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2^nd Degree-Loaded Weapon, a Class C felony. Potter’s arrest status was listed as “held” as of Sunday morning. No further details have been released by the State Police.
